praise for the Luminotes.. privacy policy!I just received an email from a Luminotes user who wanted to tell me how much he liked using the software. One of the perks of this job is that I get one of these emails from users sometimes several times per week, and it makes me realize that I'm doing something that matters to people.. A cool feeling!But what was interesting about this email was the following quote: "All of that is wonderful, but it is not what made me email you. I just finished reading your Privacy policy. It is the clearest, most concise, and friendly legal document I have ever read. For that alone you should be applauded." Well thank you, anonymous user who I shall not identify, for fear of violating my own friendly privacy policy! I encourage all Luminotes users to give the privacy policy a read. I wrote it with the intention that real humans could read it and understand it, not just lawyers. And of course if you have any feedback for improvements to the policy, I'd like to hear it. Dan |
